The beach
Sandsend plays host to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Yorkshire coast, and has been voted England's best beach in previous years.
Clifftop Walks
The coastline extending to the north of Sandsend offers stunning views across the North Sea. Walkers tread the old coastal railway line.
The Hart Inn
The Hart Inn is situated in the centre of the village, and is both warm and comfortable during winter with a roaring log fire; and a sun trap during the summer, with an excellent beer garden.
Beach cafés
There are several beachside cafes in Sandsend, providing teas, coffees and ice cream as well as being a shop for all essential beach items.
World famous for its fish and chips, its abbey, and of course as the backdrop to Bram Stoker's Dracula!
The Wits End Café
Famous for crab sandwiches, great espresso coffee, fine wines, good service and its walled garden.
